This item is cute. I believed with "Kitchenaid" I couldn't go wrong. This is a fantastic beater. Does the job well with thinner batters. Unfortunately I like to make cake alot, like pound cake. The thickness of these batters is just a little also substantially for this little beater. It slows down and speeds up in the course of use, and on the box it is known as an "power saver". Truth is, it just slows down in thick batter simply because there's not sufficient power to push the beaters! Felt like chanting "I think I can, I think I can"...
Bottom line, if you are searching for something to make cookie batter, dough, etc., this is not the toy for you.

I loved Kitchen Aid, loved this mixer till the beaters literally came apart in the middle while mixing a normal cake. I contacted Kitchen Help and they told me considering the fact that it was over a year old they wont replace the beaters.... poor client service in my opinion. I have an OLD Sunbeam hand mixer that has aid up far better than this 1.
