Buyer Critiques

I have an earlier version of this Kitchen Aid hand mixer, which was bought in 1994 and nonetheless works but I had been thinking about replacing it with a newer 1. Right after reading some of the other critiques, I was a small skeptical about buying this model. When it arrived I compared it with my older one particular and believed this new one particular seems lighter and wondered if it would be as really good. On Thanksgiving Day, I gave it a really good workout mixing up 5lbs of potatoes to mash -- I was particularly impressed with how properly it did the job. For me, I assume I produced the right choice to purchase this hand mixer.

I bought this item about a year ago. I was tremendously excited as I do a lot a baking and other items that demand a hand mixer. I was hoping this would be my final acquire. But, I have been very disappointed. It is lightweight and does a superb job. The attachments without having the middle bar are superb and it is lightweight. BUT for some cause, a single of the attachments will not stay locked into the mixer. So I am regularly getting to quit in the middle to push it back in. I do not know what is causing this dilemma but it is very frustrating. I am thinking about purchasing yet another to replace this a single since it ends up taking me at least two times longer to mix anything. This is a difficulty that I have had soon after only a couple of makes use of of the product.
