I take this unit on holiday with us - I use it at house - I take it to over nighters anyplace.
I see some critiques that say it has no temp adjustment - well, it just would be useless if it did.
Pour in the batter and set the timer for 3 min 45 seconds and two waffles are accomplished to perfection - each time and everytime. It has never ever failed soon after hundreds of waffles
I also see some noise about it becoming huge and bulky - well, if you want a heavy duty machine that will out final you, this is what you get. I have no difficulty taking it everywhere.

PS: The pretty ideal waffle mix is the malted mix from Williams Sonoma - wow! I am going to make some now . . .

I suggest the buy of this waffle baker.
I bought the baker from Amazon.com working with bonus points on 12/18/10. SH was included which is one of the factors I like making use of Amazon. Plus, the cost was perfect.

Cons.

Pros.

The waffles are a very good size. I doubt if you will want more than one as the waffles are that huge.

I found when pouring the batter that it took only about ¾ cup to make a waffle and not the full cup suggested in the instruction booklet.
I also located that 4 minutes is a beneficial time to cook the waffles to the doneness that my wife and I like.
I am looking forward to getting a lot of use out of the unit. If you happen to be searching for a unit that tends to make honestly great Belgian waffles than this unit is a winner. I would get this unit once again.
I gave it a 4 stars as an alternative of 5 primarily due to having to insure the unit is sitting level in the cradle.
