This item works fine, good high quality, etc. Then again, if you are an owner of the K4SSWH four.five qt bowl lift model purchased at Wal-Mart's Black Friday sales, this WILL NOT Work with your mixer! The model quantity of the mixer at Wal Mart is contrived, that model is actually a rebadged discontinued K5 Classic according to KitchenAid. You will need to have to purchase accessories intended for a K5, NOT a K45 (as one particular would assume). Hope this helps a person.
This wire whip is a disappointment because it's not made out of stainless steel, as was the original. It is some form of aluminum which gets pocked when it soaks in dishwater. This happened the 1st time I handwashed it! Do not dare put it in the dishwasher.
