I purchased the processor and blades at the similar time. I had known as in advance and was told no blades came with the processor. Even so, three outstanding blades and a nifty storage box do come with the processor, so the additional $70.00 for these 5 seemed rather unneccesary. They will allow extra functionality than the normal 3 discs enclosed with the processor, but for us, these 5 would have been 'over-kill'.

I bought this largely for the french fry cutter. I'm pretty happy with how the french fries come out. My children appreciate the taste of fresh french fries. I've seen evaluations on this before, commenting on how compact the fries are. That is a issue with the size of the opening in the cover, but because that cannot be controlled, I am significantly more than happy with the size of the fries. As far as the other discs, I'm nevertheless understanding to use the food processor so I haven't utilised them considerably. They seem largely to be thicker or thinner versions of slicers I already have, but I'm confident I'll see the need to have as I do additional "processing." I just wish I had a good case for all of these.
